How is the 20-layer finish made?

The dial begins with a pressed texture, followed by a sunray finish and a fumé color gradient. Twenty individual layers of enamel lacquer are then applied and carefully dried before the surface is polished, creating clarity, depth and a glass-like appearance.

Is the PT5000 movement automatic?

Yes. The PT5000 is a high-beat automatic mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Its bidirectional winding system uses the natural movement of your wrist to wind the mainspring.

Will the 40mm case fit a smaller wrist?

Can I swim with the Aqua Shard?

The Aqua Shard is rated to 100 metres of water resistance and is suitable for everyday water exposure and recreational swimming. Ensure the crown is fully secured before contact with water. Do not operate the crown underwater. After exposure to salt water, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.
