AETHELSOHN Forge Titanium Damascus is built around a dial formed from layered titanium alloys using a Damascus-inspired forging process.

Different titanium alloys are fused together, repeatedly folded and worked to create a layered metallic structure.

Once the material has been formed, the surface is finished and subjected to controlled heat treatment.

Because the different titanium alloys react differently to temperature, a thin surface oxidation layer develops across the metal, revealing naturally shifting iridescent tones without the use of conventional colored pigments.

Depending on the individual dial and the angle of the light, shades of blue, violet, graphite, gold and copper may emerge across the surface.

The layered structure created during forging becomes visible through flowing, wave-like patterns that are unique to each piece.

No two Forge Titanium Damascus dials are exactly alike.

Each dial carries its own combination of layered pattern, color transition and reflection, making the material itself the defining element of the design.

DESIGN INSPIRATION

Forge Titanium Damascus explores the transformation of metal through heat, pressure and repeated forging.

Traditional Damascus metalworking is known for creating layered structures through the repeated joining and folding of different metals.

Forge Titanium Damascus reinterprets this idea using titanium alloys.

Rather than relying on a decorative printed pattern, the visual identity of the dial originates within the layered material itself.

The titanium alloys are fused and repeatedly folded, creating flowing structures throughout the metal.

After forming and finishing, the dial undergoes controlled heat treatment.

The different titanium alloys respond differently to temperature, creating a surface oxidation layer that transforms the appearance of the metal.

Blue, violet, graphite, gold and copper tones can emerge naturally across the dial.

Together with the layered Damascus structure, these colors create a surface that changes dramatically with light and viewing angle.

THE TITANIUM DAMASCUS PROCESS

The Forge Titanium Damascus dial begins with multiple titanium alloys.

The alloys are joined together and worked through a process of fusion and repeated folding.

This creates multiple metallic layers inside the material.

As the billet is forged and worked, those layers develop the flowing and irregular patterns associated with Damascus-style metalwork.

Once the material has been formed and the dial surface prepared, controlled heat is applied.

The heat triggers a thin oxidation layer on the titanium surface.

Because the titanium alloys within the layered material respond differently to temperature, each layer can develop a different color.

The resulting tones may include blue, violet, graphite, gold and copper.

These colors are produced through the interaction between heat, oxidation and the titanium alloys themselves rather than a conventional printed color pattern.

BRACELET AND WRIST-FIT INFORMATION

Forge Titanium Damascus uses the same bracelet and clasp system as the Shard collection.

The bracelet and clasp measure approximately 182mm when fully extended, excluding the watch case.

Including the case, bracelet and clasp, the complete watch measures approximately 205mm from end to end when laid flat.

The 205mm measurement refers to the complete flat end-to-end length and does not directly represent maximum wrist circumference.

With the full bracelet installed, the watch is expected to fit wrists up to approximately 200mm.

Actual fit may vary depending on wrist shape, clasp adjustment and preferred wearing tightness.

ON-THE-FLY CLASP ADJUSTMENT

The on-the-fly clasp provides approximately 8.6mm of tool-free micro-adjustment.

This allows the bracelet fit to be fine-tuned without removing links or using a tool.

For larger changes in bracelet length, the screw-secured removable links can be removed or reinstalled using the included bracelet-adjustment screwdriver.
