PRODUCT OVERVIEW

AETHELSOHN Glacier Shadow draws inspiration from the darker surfaces, layered formations and quiet strength of glacial ice.

The charcoal-gray brass dial is shaped through hydraulic pressing to create a dimensional glacier-inspired texture across the surface.

A subtle sunburst and brushed finishing treatment is then applied over the embossed structure. Rather than creating a highly reflective conventional sunburst effect, the finishing is intentionally restrained, allowing the glacier texture itself to remain the dominant visual feature.

As light moves across the dial, the raised and recessed areas respond differently, revealing soft metallic highlights, deeper charcoal shadows and changing visual depth.

The result is a darker and more restrained interpretation of the Glacier collection — structured, understated and defined by the interaction between texture, light and shadow.

Powered by the PT5000 automatic mechanical movement, Glacier Shadow features a 316L stainless-steel case and bracelet, a box-domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, Super-LumiNova® BGW9 and 100m / 10ATM water resistance.

DESIGN INSPIRATION

Glacier Shadow is inspired by the darker side of glacial ice.

Glaciers are not defined only by bright white and blue surfaces. In changing light, their ridges, compressed layers and shadowed recesses can reveal deeper gray tones and dramatic contrasts.

Glacier Shadow interprets this character through a charcoal-gray dial with a three-dimensional glacier-inspired texture.

The brass dial is shaped through hydraulic pressing, creating raised and recessed formations across the surface.

A subtle sunburst and brushed finish is then applied to help light move across the texture without overwhelming it.

As the wrist moves, brighter metallic highlights appear across the raised sections while recessed areas remain darker, creating a continuous interaction between light and shadow.

Within the Glacier collection, Glacier Shadow represents the most restrained and architectural interpretation of glacial texture.

DIAL DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Glacier Shadow begins with a brass dial formed through hydraulic pressing.

The pressing process creates a three-dimensional glacier-inspired relief, with raised and recessed structures extending across the dial surface.

After the texture is formed, a subtle sunburst and brushed finishing treatment is applied.

The effect is deliberately restrained.

Rather than turning the dial into a conventional highly reflective sunburst surface, the finishing helps light interact with the glacier texture itself.

Raised sections catch brighter highlights while recessed areas retain deeper charcoal shadows.

The combination creates changing depth and contrast as the viewing angle shifts.

ON-THE-FLY CLASP ADJUSTMENT

The on-the-fly clasp provides approximately 8.6mm of tool-free micro-adjustment.

It allows the bracelet fit to be fine-tuned without removing links or using a tool.

This is useful for small comfort adjustments throughout the day as wrist size changes slightly with temperature, activity or normal daily conditions.

The approximately 8.6mm adjustment range is intended for fine-tuning.

For larger size adjustments, bracelet links can be removed or reinstalled using the included bracelet-adjustment screwdriver.

BRACELET ADJUSTMENT

The bracelet uses screw-secured removable links rather than conventional push pins.

A correctly sized bracelet-adjustment screwdriver is included with every watch, allowing links to be removed or reinstalled to adjust the bracelet length.

設計靈感

Glacier Shadow 的設計靈感來自冰川較深沉的一面。
