01
A brass dial is prepared as the foundation for the patina treatment.

The dial undergoes a controlled chemical treatment to develop its distinctive blue-green patina.
03
The oxidized surface is carefully worked to reveal irregular textures, depth, and natural colour variations.
04
Heat is applied during the oxidation process to accelerate the reaction and enhance the natural-looking patina.
05
The dial is cleaned and finished with a protective coating to help preserve its distinctive appearance.
A simplified overview of the Forge Patina Green dial-making process.

We offer both. Some of our watches use automatic movements (like PT5000, NH34, NH35), powered by wrist motion. Others use quartz movements (like VH31, Ronda 515.24H), powered by battery. We also have solar-powered options like Epson VR42. You’ll find the movement type listed on each product page.
We use a range of reliable mechanical and quartz movements, including PT5000, TMI NH35/NH34, TMI VH31, Ronda 515.24H, and Epson VR42, each chosen for its performance, accuracy, and fit for the watch’s purpose.
Avoid strong magnetic fields, wipe it regularly with a soft cloth, and have it serviced every few years for best long-term performance.
